J.P.M Micro Tools wasn’t always the company
it is today.
In the early 2000s, founder João Paulo Mariano — known to friends,
colleagues, and clients simply as J.P — began his journey in precision
engineering under the banner of J.P.M Engineering.
Back then, the business partnered closely with another respected name in the field, J.J Engineering, run by industry veteran J.J Ferreira. When Mr. Ferreira retired, Paulo saw the moment as a turning point — a chance to take everything learned, every relationship built, and every lesson in craftsmanship, and channel it into something new.
Thus, J.P.M Micro Tools was born — a
fresh start with a clear vision: to blend traditional skill with modern precision
and become a trusted partner to industries where quality cannot be compromised.
Built on Grit and Commitment
For many years, it was a true family operation. Paulo worked behind the machines, meeting clients, and solving complex engineering challenges, while his wife, Josefina Mariano, managed all the financial and operational aspects of the business.
Their combined dedication created more than just a company — it built a reputation. They worked late nights, navigated tight deadlines, and refused to compromise on quality. Slowly but surely, they attracted not only more work but the trust of major industry players.
